From Service to Set
Vets on Set
Vets on Setâ„¢ is a transformational three module program designed to equip veterans with the skills and mindset to thrive on a professional film set.
One Mission. Real Pathways for Veterans.
Vets on Set is run by brothers Jeremy Atherton, a film educator and filmmaker and Andrew Atherton, a retired Canadian Army Brigadier-General with extensive experience in leadership, systems thinking, and supporting veterans transitioning from military service to civilian careers.
Jeremy Atherton and Brigadier-General (Ret.) Andrew Atherton bring together two complementary worlds: professional film production and veteran leadership. Jeremy contributes decades of experience preparing people for the realities of film sets—clear roles, high standards, and real accountability. Andrew brings deep expertise in leadership, systems thinking, and veteran transition, with a clear understanding of how service skills translate into civilian workplaces.
Together, they designed Vets on Set to create practical, respectful pathways for veterans—turning discipline, teamwork, and reliability into immediate value on professional film sets, while opening doors to meaningful post-service careers.
